About Me   

In 2019, I started a wellness journey that would completely change my life. Working with my primary care physician, I focused on losing weight and getting healthy. Since that time I have lost and maintained almost 100 pounds. Beyond weight loss, I discovered  that sustainable change isn't about having willpower or being perfect - It's about creating systems and a way to live that work every day. That transformation changed more than my body - it changed my mindset, how I saw myself and what I believed was possible. For the first time in a very long time, I was prioritizing ME!
 

My Background

After 30 years of helping others grow and succeed in my career in education, I realized I wanted to use what I learned - both professionally and personally to help people create their own transformation. I've always been passionate about helping people navigate a transition, build confidence, and reach their goals. So I earned my coaching certification and launched HeatherDowner.com. Now, as a certified  coach, I get to bring a personalized approach to helping clients create their own lasting change and life balance.
